The company folded and went into administration back in May 2017 putting 3,000 former customers in a state of uncertainty and potentially causing major losses.

It is believed that the company has been in difficulty for quite some time despite Strand Capital’s owners (Optima) stating the company is performing well.

The latest set of accounts that were filed tell a different story with the company recording losses (before tax) of £235,297 during a tax year, this is a marked increase from the £22,392 losses posted the year before.

The money of the company’s clients is meant to be kept separate from its own money in order to protect it, this means that it should all be returned in full should a company go into administration.
