Holborn Assets Declared in Default by FSCS Following 36 Claims

The FSCS declared Brighton-based Holborn Assets Ltd in default. Holborn Assets Ltd remains listed as an authorised firm on the FCA Register despite the fact it is subject to restrictions by the regulator.

Holborn Assets, which had been authorised since February 2015, went into liquidation in October 2023. The firm is also known to have operated under various other names, including Global UK Wealth, Neo Financial Planning, James Parker Financial, and Pension Transfer Experts.

The FSCS said that a total of 36 claims had been made against Holborn Assets involving general investments, SIPPs, and pensions. Of these claims, one was successful.

Nonetheless, the FSCS ruled out any association between the claims and British Steel pension transfers.
