FCA Cancels Ozen Financial Services Authorisation After Enforcement Action

The Financial Conduct Authority revoked the FCA authorisation of Ozen Financial Services Limited in June 2023 following a formal enforcement decision, raising serious questions about how the firm was operating and what happened to its clients’ money.

Ozen Financial Services Limited (FRN 670187), also known as Ozen FS, had been authorised by the FCA since November 2011. The FCA’s Decision Notice, issued on 9 June 2023, set out the grounds for cancellation: the firm had failed to submit its mandatory annual Firm Details Attestation and had failed to respond to formal notices issued by the regulator.

The firm has since been dissolved at Companies House. While the FCA’s stated reasons relate to regulatory non-compliance, these failures are often symptomatic of deeper problems within a firm. Former clients who received advice or held assets with Ozen Financial Services have reason to ask searching questions about the management of their money.

If you were a client of Ozen Financial Services Limited or Ozen FS and you believe you suffered financial losses as a result of the firm’s conduct, you may have grounds for a financial mis-selling claim.
